Dark Souls Board Game Funded in 3 Minutes
A runaway success.
It's clear a Dark Souls board game is something fans of the series wanted.
The Kickstarter campaign for the tabletop game started today, reaching its £50,000 ($72,000) funding target in just three minutes. After a few hours, it's now raised more than £222,550 ($320,000), which is almost five times what was originally asked for.
There are still 26 days remaining until the campaign ends on May 16, so it's likely the funding figure will continue to swell, with more stretch goals unlocked as a result.
Dark Souls - The Board Game, as it's being called, is a tabletop game designed for 1-4 players. It's set in the Dark Souls universe and is made by Steamforged Games in partnership with Bandai Namco.
