Mythic Entertainment, developer of the massively multiplayer role-playing game Dark Age of Camelot, will be holding its second roundtable in Las Vegas. The event will be held at the Rio Hotel and Casino on September 23 and 24. The first 300 players to register before August 23 will get a free copy of the game's upcoming expansion pack, Darkness Rising, which is due in October. All who register before that point will gain access to the Darkness Rising beta test.

Mythic has greatly expanded its roundtable schedule this year. In addition to the Las Vegas West Coast event, Mythic held an East Coast roundtable in Washington DC in April. Smaller events will also be taking place in Austin, Texas, in October, and Seattle in November. "It's been a great four years, and we're thrilled to once again have the chance to meet with our players in Las Vegas," said Eugene Evans, VP of marketing and business development at Mythic.

Players at the roundtable can meet and discuss the game with the developers and see foppish dandies parade around in tights at the costume contest (or take part themselves). Contest prizes include items from event sponsors, Intel and Prima Games. For more, see the Dark Age of Camelot's official Web site.
