Bigben Interactive has today released new information on Dance: UK for the PlayStation and PS2, which was announced last month. The Bemani-style dance-mat game will feature a number of licensed music tracks and will launch alongside a range of peripherals designed to enhance the gameplay experience, including a mini 2.1 dance sound system, a wireless microphone karaoke headset, and a unique eight-way dance mat. Music tracks confirmed for inclusion in the game today include the following:

Mis Teeq - "One Night Stand"
Sugababes - "Round Round"
DJ Sammi - "Heaven"
Junior Senior - "Everybody"
Oliver Cheetham feat. Room 5 - "Make Luv"

Dance: UK will feature a number of different gameplay modes, and it will incorporate an innovative handicap system designed to allow players of differing abilities to compete on an even footing. Three difficulty levels will ensure that newcomers to the genre don't feel out of their depth, while the gradual transition from four-way to eight-way dance steps should provide a lasting challenge even for seasoned groovers. Up to eight players using two dance mats will be supported in the game's teamplay mode, while an aerobics mode will allow players to see how much energy they're burning.
