Dynamix informed GameSpot News on Monday that CyberStorm 2: Corporate Wars had gone gold and is expected to hit shelves by June 1.

The new strategy title allows players to choose real-time or turn-based play as they explore and take control of a solar system. Players become a representative of one of eight corporations as they build forces, defend its facilities and colonies, and fight to claim their position as ruler of an entire solar system.

Up to eight players will be able to fight head to head via Internet, network, or modem play. A chat window will let players insult and push opponents into battle or allow friendlier communication with allies.

CyberStorm 2: Corporate Wars will be a Windows 95-based title and carries a US$39.95 price tag.
