Cute Farming Sim, Doraemon: Story Of Seasons, Hits PS4 This September

The latest entry in the Story of Seasons franchise, 2019's Doraemon: Story of Seasons, will make its way to PlayStation 4 on September 4.

Publisher Bandai Namco shared a PS4 release date trailer showing off what players can expect when Doraemon: Story of Seasons hits Sony's system later this summer. The trailer, below, illustrates the game's charming vibe, showing protagonist Nobita Nobi tending to a farm in the quaint town of Natura. He raises animals and crops, hangs out with friends, rides a horse, and more.

Doraemon: Story of Seasons, a farming life-sim, originally launched in 2019 for Nintendo Switch and PC. The game is a crossover between the Doraemon and Story of Seasons franchises.

The game currently holds a 75 on Metacritic based on 23 critic reviews, with 14 of them positive and nine negative. Most critics adore the game, saying it has "perfect pacing" that creates a lulling story. However, many felt that the game's mechanics felt like "work to play."
