The 3DO Company has announced that it has signed a deal with Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher and World Weries co-MVP Curt Schilling to endorse and promote the next game in its baseball series, High Heat Major League Baseball 2003. The company will also donate a portion of the proceeds from the game's sales to Schilling's "Curt's Pitch for ALS" program, which raises money for research and treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

High Heat Major League Baseball is scheduled for release in spring 2002 for the PC, Sony PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Game Boy Advance. For more information, visit the official 3DO Web site.
