The premium channel adds hundreds of anime series and movies to the Prime Video library.

Amazon Prime members can now add the anime streaming service Crunchyroll to their Prime Video subscription.

The Crunchyroll Prime Video add-on channel starts at $8/month for the entry-level Fan plan. There's also a $10/month Mega Fan option that lets you download videos for offline watching. Both membership levels include a seven-day free trial, so you can try the channel out before adding it to your Amazon Prime subscription. You can even use the free trial to check out recent fan-favorite series like Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, or Dragon Ball Super, along with hundreds of other shows and movies.

While the Amazon Prime Crunchyroll memberships cost the same as Crunchyroll Premium, there are some differences worth pointing out. For example, all Crunchyroll Premium plans include access to the app's digital manga library, which isn't included with Amazon Prime. Crunchyroll Premium's $10/month Mega Fan and $15/month Ultimate Fan tiers also include discount coupons and other exclusive deals at Crunchyroll's online store that aren't available through Prime.

However, the upshot to subscribing through Amazon Prime is you can easily access Crunchyroll's library through the Prime Video app or Amazon's website, which is great if you prefer to have all your streaming content in one place, and you can bundle your monthly subscriptions into a single bill.

Amazon Prime members can sign up for Crunchyroll at Amazon's website or through the Prime Video app.
