Creatures Invade the GameCube and the GBA
The GameCube and the Game Boy Advance will get a healthy dose of Creatures.
Swing! Entertainment Media AG has signed an exclusive agreement with Creature Labs to license the Creatures brand of games for the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance. Under the agreement, Swing! Entertainment holds the exclusive marketing and distribution rights to the products based on the Creatures brand.
"We are very excited to be giving our Creatures their first console outing and are supremely confident that Swing! will deliver a compelling product full of the endearing characters that have made Creatures such an evergreen property," said Howard Newmark, publishing director of Creature Labs.
Creatures is currently in its third installment on the PC platform. The game is based on a civilization of artificial life forms, and the players must train, raise, and build relationships between the creatures. There is no specific information available on the Game Boy Advance and GameCube versions of Creatures at this time.
