Crazy Taxi PS2 date set

Acclaim has confirmed as part of its fiscal quarter conference call that Crazy Taxi for the Sony PlayStation 2 is currently on schedule to be released on May 2. The game, which is essentially a direct port of the Dreamcast original, was originally planned for release in April. Acclaim further revealed that the company plans to release at least six PS2 games in the fourth quarter. The games planned for release include 18-Wheeler American Pro Trucker, Quarterback Club 2002, Shadow Man: 2econd Coming, Extreme G3, and Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2. The company's full Christmas lineup, including the latest games in its sports lineup, will be unveiled at E3.
