The upcoming Crackdown sequel will include a fully destructible cityscape, Microsoft announced at its Gamescom 2015 press conference today.

The sequel, which is actually being called Crackdown 3 now, will feature "100 percent destructible environments," Microsoft and developer ReAgent said. The demo showed the superhuman cyborg police-officers demolishing entire buildings, toppling them and setting off a domino effect with nearby skyscrapers.

Crackdown 3 will also feature transforming vehicles, ReAgent said. The footage shown was taken from a pre-alpha build, with the sequel still slated for a 2016 release.
