Cult-classic anime series Cowboy Bebop celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and for anyone looking to revisit the sci-fi action series, you can grab the complete series from Walmart along with a limited-edition steelbook case. Priced at $53.64, this is a re-release of a hard-to-find edition of the series that'll begin shipping out from October 3. It also comes with a digital copy of the show, just in case you want to avoid getting any scratches on your disc.

Set in the year 2071, Cowboy Bebop follows bounty hunters Spike Spiegel and Jet Black--who appear on the steelbook--as they ply their trade across a Solar system that humanity has colonized. Alongside amnesiac con artist Faye Valentine, hacker prodigy Radical Edward, and a genetically engineered Corgi by the name of Ein, the team regularly gets into wild shootouts when they face wanted criminals and threats from their collective past.

Animated by Sunrise and airing from 1998-1999, the show was a huge hit thanks to its smooth animation, fun story beats, and memorable soundtrack. For this anniversary release, the entire 26 episode-run comes with a number of special features:

  • Memo from Cowboy Bebop: The dub sessions remembered
  • Dinner aboard the Bebop
  • Cowboy Bebop session #0
  • English and Japanese commentary tracks
  • Interview with Wendee Lee
  • Interview with Cartoon Network producer Sean Akins
  • Ein's summer vacation
  • Textless opening and closing songs
  • Tank music clips

If you're not too concerned with the steelbook offer, you can grab the Cowboy Bebop 25th Anniversary Edition at a 40% discount. Amazon has this edition of the anime to $39, for the the five-disc set that was originally released in April. A limited-edition version of this box set is also available for $64 (usually $85) and includes a fancy box, new extras, and five art cards. If you just want the cheapest way to watch Cowboy Bebop, the Blu-ray release from 2014 is available for only $20.
