New screenshots from CDV Software's real-time strategy game set in 17th-century Europe.
Ukrainian development studio CDV Software has released more screenshots from its upcoming real-time strategy game European Wars: Cossacks. The game is set in 17th-century Europe, and it features 16 playable nations and a wide variety of historical scenarios. The engine supports battles of up to 8000 units at once on both land and sea. The game emphasizes broad global objectives over micromanagement, making conquest, economic development, and technology research the player's chief concerns. European Wars: Cossacks is scheduled for release in March 2001.
