Condemned movie signs up director

this game rocks, the movie should pwn.

When will people learn that most games will never be great movies? The only decent one I can think of is Resident Evil, and those have just been getting worse ever since the first. Just look at Silent Hill and Dead Or Alive, they were both complete flops.

I never thought this movie would go anywhere. But, being a fan of Condemned, I can only hope it won't be terrible.

They may as well make a sequel to Super Mario Bros. while they're at it ;-)

During the murder investigation, he discovers things that put his own humanity in doubt." If the game I finished last weekend was Condemned, that's pretty much what the premise of the game is, story-wise. Whether or not it'll have the twists and plot revelations of the original is something we won't know until the movie comes out.

Greg Grunberg (from Heroes) did the voiceover in the game; it'd be awesome if he was the protagonist in this movie.

@ska_dude101 So true, no quicker way to know a movie will suck than seeing Uwe Boll's name attatched to it. I loved the game and can't wait for the sequel. Here's hoping the movie does the game justice.

i wish they would have kept the title, i would so go see a movie called "condemned"

Condemned had a very original and interesting story line. It has potential to become a great movie. Let's just hope they find a director that can give it justice.

darthfrag a movie not too long ago came out called Condemned that had nothing to do with the game. The name was already taken so i guess they went with a different name. Could be a different reason...who know.

I don't really understand the need to call it "Unforgettable". It seems kinda stupid to pay licensing fees to use the "Condemned" plot and then not use the name as well. Fans of the game might be more likely to go see a film with a name they recognize rather than a bland title like "Unforgettable".
