Although Pyro Studios had previously revealed that the game was complete, Eidos Interactive has now officially announced that its tactical strategy game sequel, Commandos 2: Men of Courage, has gone gold. The game is set during World War II in a variety of locations ranging from a remote Arctic camp and a small tropical island to a densely populated European city. Players control a group of characters with different skills and abilities, and they must complete a series of missions that combine action, strategy, and puzzle elements.

Commandos 2 was created by Spanish developer Pyro Studios, and it will be available in stores on September 20 for an approximate retail price of $39.95. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
