Though PC gamers may have moved on to slaying goblins and bandits, there once was a time when they slaughtered soldiers of the Third Reich. Activision's Call of Duty 2 was released for the PC in late October, and today the battle rages on with new content.
The latest patch for Call of Duty 2 bumps the game up to version 1.2 and is now available from
As previously announced, the maps are the all-new Rhine and reworked Call of Duty favorite Harbor. Rhine is set in the war-torn German city of Wallendar, which has been almost entirely reduced to rubble after years of war. Harbor takes place in the shipping port of Rostov, Russia.
Developer Infinity Ward isn't finished with delivering extra content for the PC game. The game's mod tools are "being finalized" and will be released "shortly."
