Publisher Team17, alongside co-developers DevM Games and SMG Studio, have announced that the couch cooperative moving simulator Moving Out will get a bevy of new content soon.

Titled Moving In, the update adds a new game mode that tasks players with moving items from a packed van into an empty house. In other words, players will be performing the opposite of the game's name. There are 12 levels in total for players to take on, all previously used in Moving Out's standard mode. And to make the unpacking a little easier, Moving In introduces a new "auto-snap" toggle option to Assist Mode to help players place items more securely.

The Moving In update also brings about new character customization options, including two new dances and additional accessories like hats and uniforms. There's no definitive release date for the Moving In update yet, but the developers said it will launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One "soon." For now, check out the announcement trailer below.

Moving Out is a wacky, physics-based couch cooperative moving simulator in the same vein as Overcooked. It launched on April 28, 2020 and ended up taking home the Game of the Year award during last year's Australian Game Developer Awards. A month after securing the award, co-developer SMG Studio said more Moving Out content is planned for 2021.
