Club Gathering Opens

Gathering of Developers launches a membership club to promote its games.

Gathering of Developers has announced Club Gathering, a free membership program featuring gaming news and giveaways. Membership includes "Gathering of Goodness" compact discs, free demo CD-ROMs with exclusive sneak preview content on upcoming games, as well as direct e-mail updates on Gathering games. Those who sign up in January will receive a free 2001 Gathering of Goodness calendar that features information about upcoming games and pictures of scantily clad female models.

The demo CDs will be mailed out every two months. The first 700MB CD will contain the latest demos of Gathering's games, including Serious Sam, Oni, Rune, 4x4 Evolution, and Heavy Metal: F.A.K.K. 2. Exclusive sneak preview content from FLY! II, Tropico, Shadowbane, Stronghold, and three unannounced games, as well as behind-the-scenes video and exclusive pictures from the making of the 2001 Gathering of Goodness calendar will also be included. The CDs will also include spotlight presentations on independent artists from the music and film industries, plus exclusive feature material.
