Clive Barker's Undying Unveiled

Electronic Arts will be showing a horror-inspired Unreal first-person shooter at E3.

Published reports that first appeared on Stomped.com this morning revealed information that Electronic Arts is planning to show a previously unannounced PC game at this year's E3 in Los Angeles. Titled Clive Barker's Undying, the game places players in the shoes of Magnus Wolfram, a master of the occult. It is powered by Epic Games' Unreal engine.

We contacted EA this afternoon to learn more about the Undying, and while details are still very well guarded, we did manage to learn that the game will be a first-person shooter set in a survival-horror atmosphere. As Wolfram, players will defend a magistrate against his dead siblings. Available to players will be traditional weapons such as knives and shotguns, as well as a number of magic spells, according to EA.

Clive Barker's Undying is being developed by Dreamworks Interactive through the use of the Unreal engine, and it will be on display for the first time at E3. We'll have complete coverage of this game from the show floor.
