Cleopatra Gone Gold

The official expansion pack for Pharaoh is finished.

Comments

Impression Games announced today that Cleopatra, the official expansion pack for the widely praised Pharaoh, has gone gold. Like Pharaoh, Cleopatra focuses on the construction of a city during the ancient Egyptian era. The four new campaigns in the Cleopatra expansion each branch off and detail the reign of well-known pharaohs such as Tutankhamen, Ramses II, and, of course, Cleopatra.

Not only must players successfully manage their Egyptian cities, but they must also protect them from potential enemies and invaders like the Romans or the Phoenicians. Players will also have to deal with occasional blights like locust attacks and hail. The expansion also brings new buildings and units, including henna farms, painters, lamp makers, and tomb artisans.

Cleopatra should arrive on store shelves in a few weeks.
