DomiNations, the new mobile strategy game from Civilization and Rise of Nations designer Brian Reynolds and the new version of Big Huge Games, is available now across iOS and Android devices. Big Huge Games worked on the free game with Nexon, the company that's also behind Gears of War creator Cliff Bleszinski's next game.

In DomiNations, you choose from a variety of nations to lead, including the British, Romans, Chinese, Germans, French, Japanese, and Greeks. The game aims to separate itself from the pack of similar games by allowing users to "play through the ages." In essence, the game unfolds across the "expanse of human history," Big Huge Games said in the title's announcement today.

"Players must research landmark technological developments, leverage unique strategic civilization abilities, and build Wonders of the World in order to pave their way to victory," the developer explained. "With famous generals like Alexander the Great, Cleopatra, and Napoleon at the helm, players can relive history's most famous conflicts at the tips of their fingers."

More than 100 upgradeable structures are available in DomiNations. Players must also manage their food and economy while simultaneously engaging in real-time combat scenarios to expand their domain.

The game's campaign starts with the dawn of man in the Fertile Crescent and moves through to World War II and later events. DomiNations' multiplayer mode supports head-to-head battles as well as co-op.

You can download DomiNations today by following these links: iTunes, Google Play.
