Cities: Skylines Xbox One Edition Coming This Year

DLC expansion After Dark also included.

City-building game Cities: Skylines is coming to Xbox One in spring 2017, publisher Paradox Interactive has announced.

The port will also include the After Dark expansion, which introduced a day/night cycle, among other features. It's currently unclear if the game's subsequent DLC packs, Snowfall and Natural Disasters, will come to Xbox One. You can take a look at the new port in the trailer above.

Now Playing: Cities: Skylines - Xbox One Reveal Trailer

Since its original release in 2015, Cities: Skylines has sold very well. After only a month, the game had passed a million copies sold. Paradox says it has been "surprised" by the game's success.

Here at GameSpot, we enjoyed the original PC version. In our Cities: Skylines review, real-life mayor Brett Todd said, "There is no better way to take a peek at life as a mayor without filing your papers to run for office in the real world."
