Chrome patch coming Friday
New vehicles and multiplayer maps to be added to the futuristic first-person shooter later this week. New screens inside.
Techland and Strategy First have announced that an update patch for Chrome will be released this Friday. The patch will address a number of minor issues, will add All-Seeing Eye matchmaking support, and will update the game with new multiplayer gameplay modes, two new vehicles, and eight new multiplayer maps.
The new vehicles being added to Chrome are a one-man speeder, designed for flag interception and reconnaissance missions, and the "ArmoBeatle Mark 4," which can carry six players, including a driver and a gun operator. The eight maps being added to the existing eight are named Autobahn, Deadlock, Chillout, TreasureIsland2, Carbius, Skirmish, Battledust2, and Soilent2.
