While the original Star Wars didn't invent movie merchandising, it certainly took it to a level that had never been seen in cinema before. The franchise has remained one of the biggest merchandising opportunities for companies ever since, and The Force Awakens is no exception. But even amongst the wealth of toys, games, food, and clothing out there, the new range of figures produced by Hot Toys is something special. Check them out in the gallery below.

These toys aren't exactly cheap, with the individual figures starting at around $200, up to $390 for a multi-figure set, but they are certainly very beautiful. Click here to see the whole range.

The Hong Kong-based manufacturer has also announced a collectible Deadpool figure, released to tie in with the movie that debuts in February. The figure features "a newly developed masked head sculpt with 5 pairs of interchangeable eye pieces to create numerous combinations of Deadpool's expressions," alongside a variety of weaponry. Check it out here.

$200!? That shit probably didn't even cost more than $10 to make. These damn figurines are always way too expensive. I can understand $50 or something, but $200? You're high as a kite.

I pity the fool who drops 200 bones on one of these...

Captain Phasma made such a big deal before the film, and with her approximation of 48 seconds of screen-time, she turned out to be such a flat and disappointing addition to the movie. Could have been any other stormtrooper and it wouldn't have made any difference.

I love all the different storm troopers. If I was filthy rich, I'd probably pick a few of these up.

Other than Rey's odd face they are very nice indeed.
