Rockstar showcased GTA Online's upcoming heist in a brand-new trailer today. The Cayo Perico Heist, which includes a new island location, will hit the massive online playground on December 15.

The Cayo Perico Heist is GTA Online's first solo heist, although it can be played with a group as well. Players won't have to rely on random teammates if they don't have friends to play with. The heist will be balanced based on how many players are in a squad.

"Cayo Perico is not only the nerve center of El Rubio’s drug empire, but the island also plays host to his other great love: marathon dance parties on golden beaches," reads a post on Rockstar's official site. "Where everyone from jetsetters and heiresses to legendary music producegrs gather to rave until the sun comes up."

GTA Online will be getting a handful of other additions alongside the heist when it lands on December 15. A new social space called The Music Locker will be added underneath the Diamond Casino & Resort in East Los Santos. There will also be new vehicles, new locations to explore, and a new HQ that players can purchase.

Rockstar released a teaser for this update back in November and players believe they found a clue that references the next Grand Theft Auto game in it. The video contained GPS coordinates that point to a dirt road in the woods of Virginia, USA. You can clearly see a windy road that bears a strong resemblance to VI, the Roman number for 6, if you use an aerial view. It's no confirmation of anything, but fans are holding out hope that this is Rockstar teasing them about Grand Theft Auto VI.
