HBO's hugely popular fantasy show Game of Thrones return to screens later this month. Actor Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth in the series, appeared on Conan this week to promote the show. Despite host Conan O'Brien's questions, Cunningham refused to reveal any of the new season's upcoming surprises. He did however unveil a brand new clip from the first episode, featuring a seemingly very dead fan favourite. Check it out below:

This week Entertainment Weekly reported that the title of the first episode is "The Red Woman", and offered a synopsis. Check that out here.

Little is known about season six, both because it dives even further into territory not yet reached by George RR Martin's novels (which serve as the source material) and because HBO has been hesitant to share much. Photos have shown us where many of the main characters start out this season, while trailers have offered a glimpse of where they're headed. But definitive answers, particularly regarding the fate of Jon Snow, remain elusive.

Game of Thrones season six debuts on HBO on April 24. Star Peter Dinklage recently promoted the show's return by hosting Saturday Night Live, where he performed a song you'll be hard-pressed to get out of your head.
