Following the release of a single-player Chaser demo last month, JoWood Productions has today released a multiplayer demo of the game via its official Web site. The demo weighs in at around 142MB and allows players to do battle in the game's deathmatch and shock troops modes of play on two different maps named Building Site and Final Strike.

Chaser is a first-person shooter set in the year 2044 that will see players assuming the titular role of John Chaser--a character who begins the game suffering from amnesia onboard the spaceship H.M.S. Majestic. The game will feature around 45 levels in total, ranging from underground tunnels and ruined cities to space stations and the surface of Mars.

For more information on Chaser, which is currently scheduled for release in August, check out our previous coverage of the game.
