The best decision I made was getting a Nintendo Wii over PS3. Nintendo Wii is better than PS3. Go Nintendo Mario is coming soon and that will be great for Nintendo.

I really love you fanboys. I'm admittedly a Sony Hater, however I dont need opinion to back up fact and stats. It is a fact, the 360 has better selling and more importantly better rated games. Its a fact that the Wii has been out about the same amount of time as the PS3 yet the Wii has better sales and much much better word of mouth. It is a fact that the PS3 is the most expensive GAMING SYSTEM. It is also a fact that the PS3 is the cheapest BLUERAY PLAYER. Fact, the 360 and Wii have far more enjoyable exclusive games while PS3 is relying on old 360 games that sold well. So you fanboys keep praying for your precious Sony to dig out of the hole they have created for themselves. And if it makes you feel better to claim the PS3 is the best game system ever created, than go ahead and Lie to yourself. However for those of you that have a PS3 because you wanted a BlueRay player and an HDMI output I have no beef with you. Those are the right reasons to buy the system. Someone posted the other day, the fact that the PS3 may have a stronger processor dosn't mean anything. The original XBOX was by far that generations most innovative and most powerfull system. But the PS2 had all the great games on lockdown. Anyone want to argue that the XBOX wasn't the most advanced hardware? Please I beg someone to argue that point because I know you PS2 fans love to talk about how many triangles it could display.(who cares if the textures look like crap and the lighting was pathetic compared to XBOX) But the PS2 won hands down because of the game content. So far it looks like anything worth playing is on the 360 or at best both systems. As a faithfull Final Fantasy fan it has been difficult to keep myself from buying a PS2, but thank god that the 360 will be getting some very good games in that genre. Its all about games people. And enjoy your BlueRay movies(HD-DVD rocks on 360 by the way)

Yea, 360 is running the show right now but, don't be suprised if the Wii takes over by X-mas. That damn thing is still selling like crack. I have to turn tons of people away everyday. "No we have no Wiis today, call again tommorow."

GoW 2 boosted has boosted GoW1 sales. Its in the charts!! I'm expecting GoW 2 to replace Crackdown in the No.1 spot next month.

Seriously, who still plays The Sims 2? Honestly, I'm tired of that game and its infinite and mindless expansions taking up half the charts... I can't believe that the computer generated lives of others is actually interesting to people...

Good to see the Xbox 360 doing well,I think the PS3 will start doing well as soon as the big bombs drop.(Heavenly Sword,Lair,Warhawk etc...)

Happy to see Crackdown in the top spot. I've been playing that game since release only stopping on occasion to play Lego Star Wars 2. I just decided to give it a rest and play some other new games but it's really like Crack. It keeps calling me.....I have all of my skills at 4 stars and now the game is really fun. Maybe I'll finally go out and buy GRAW 2 this week.

Your SO wrong about that one, DOA4 by Jan 06 was # 6 on the top ten NPD chart. When the 360 was 3 months old. Then Oblivion, and then GRAW. And it is because the 360 is doing well and the cost of developing PS3 games are WAY up.(Its the most exspensive to developer for Developers are just not saying out loud. Sony lost this one.(Even though the PS3 will do alright) By the time PS3 catches on the Wii and the 360 will be so far ahead PS3's Blu-ray lazer diods will burn out!

GO CRACKDOWN a really good game!

We are watching the downfall of Sony this generation!!:D The PS3 continues to lose exclusive games (VF5, DMC4. AC6) to the great Xbox360 and the PS3's sales for both hardware & software are horrible. :lol: :lol: The Wii60 had a very strong showing this month, but the Xbox360 alone was more than enough to trump the PS3. I'm happy to see Crackdown & Zelda: TP get the sales. Go, Wii60!!!:D

Diddy Kong Racing DS was the real winner this month. Wii Sports came with a controller and Crackdown came with the Halo 3 beta. Anyway Diddy Kong Racing DS deserves more than what the reviews have said. It's a solid game with a lot of replay value. You can't go wrong when buying DKRDS.

Tried crackdown, and it was pretty terrible - it looked and played like some amature half life mod. If it wasnt for the H3 mp beta then this thing probably wouldnt even crack top 5.

Diddy Kong Racing on top and Gears of War bumped? I'm not so surprised at the Crackdown because it's a great game and has that Halo 3 Beta that everyone's been dieing to get into. Guitar Hero 2 for PS2 is the only Sony game 'through rank 13? The first PS3 game is at rank 16? Guitar Hero 2 is sure to make a huge wave of a splash when released for the XBOX 360. If Sony can't at least crack top 10, we might have another Dreamcast on our hands.

Interesting to see the original GOW crack the top 20...looks like the sequel's going to be a big hit this month.

the peripheral isn't the add on, the game itself is :) Nintendo and Microsoft are doing splendidly...long live Wii60!

Crackdown is truly a fun game and everyone I know who has it says the same thing.

I thought Crackdown was going to be a bad game and that people will only buy it for the Halo 3 beta invitation that comes with it.I don't know if people did that, but I played it at my friend's house and it turned out to be pretty good,not some gta imitation and not as good as gta,but realistic gang war and you know...crackdown...except for the robotic police,never gonna happen,but hey it's a game.Anyway,I'm not surprised it got to the top.I'm surprised something that broke so many expensive tv screens got second...

Wii and Xbox 360 are doing great. And while we X360 gamers know how HUGE the 360 is going to be this year, the PS3 and Sony have not realeased all their cards yet...

Five 360 titles in the top ten in sales and people wonder why 3rd party devs are chomping at the bit to make former exclusives multiplat. 360 attach rates are through the roof at the moment and that will continue to tempt devs wanting to get in on the gravy train.
