Capcom has today announced that a PC version of Chaos Legion is currently in development and scheduled for release this fall. The game, which will be available for the PlayStation 2 in August, blends action adventure and role-playing elements and will see players assuming the role of a powerful swordsman named Sieg Wahrheit.

As players progress through the game pursuing Wahrheit's friend Victor Delacroix, who has fallen into darkness, they'll be able to summon legions of allies to aid them in epic battles. Each of the seven different legions in the game will have its own signature weaponry such as swords, bows and arrows, or bombs.

It's not yet clear if the PC version of Chaos Legion announced today will boast any features that are different from the PS2 version, but Capcom has stated that it hopes to support resolutions of up to 1600x1200 for the PC.
