Following the announcement earlier this month that Championship Manager: Season 03/04 will be the last soccer management game that Eidos and Sports Interactive collaborate on, Eidos has today released the first information on the game. Season 03/04 will, of course, feature an updated database for the current soccer season, but it will also boast numerous other improvements and new features.

Perhaps the most obvious improvements being made to the game come in the form of four additional leagues, an option to view previously saved matches, and a pregame database editor. Other refinements promised for Season 03/04 include a more intuitive training system, player relationships, improved scout reports, and an enhanced match engine with more commentary, weather effects, and visual status indicators.

Championship Manager: Season 03/04 is currently scheduled for release in Europe in November. We'll bring you more information on the game as soon as it becomes available.
