Sports Interactive has today announced that it will release a rolling demo of the eagerly awaited Championship Manager 4 on October 24. The demo will be available for download from the official Sports Interactive Web site, and it will also appear on a disc that will be packaged with The Official Championship Manager Magazine, which launches in the UK on the same day.

In addition to the CM4 demo, which we understand will feature the first-ever footage of the game's innovative real-time match engine, Sports Interactive will also be releasing a patch for owners of Championship Manager Season: 01/02 that will update all the player stats for the current 02/03 season and introduce the Korean league to the game for the first time--taking the total number of leagues to an impressive 27.

"Championship Manager's extraordinarily loyal fan base has been very patient and supportive throughout the development period of Championship Manager 4," said 2881873Miles Jacobson , managing director of Sports Interactive. "The release of this update and demo is our way of saying thanks for all that support. We think that it should keep them busy until CM4 hits the streets."

No European release date for Championship Manager 4 had been announced at the time of writing, and a North American release has not been confirmed. For more information, check out our previous coverage of the game.
