EA Sports has announced that 2002 Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer has been named as the cover athlete for NCAA Football 2004 and will appear on the cover for all versions of the game. Palmer also won the 2002 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award and owns eight Pac-10 records.

"Being on the cover of NCAA Football 2004 is a wonderful way to honor your college career," said Palmer. "I have been playing this video game since I was a kid but never thought I would end up on the cover. EA is the clear industry leader, so it is a privilege to be on the cover of the game in my school colors."

NCAA Football 2004 is scheduled for release on the GameCube, PlayStation 2, and Xbox in July. Look for more coverage on the game soon.
