Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO to come cheap and with memory card

Capcom's upcoming fighting game for the GameCube will retail for a low price and come bundled with a memory card in Japan.

According to Capcom's official Japanese Web site, Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO for the GameCube will retail for 4,800 yen (approximately $40) and come bundled with Nintendo's standard Memory Card 59 in Japan. Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO is the GameCube-exclusive version of Capcom vs. SNK 2: Millennium Fighting 2001, which debuted on the Sony PlayStation 2 last November. The GameCube version of the game will include a simplified control scheme that allows players to use the C stick on the GameCube controller to perform moves.

Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO is scheduled for release on August 15 in North America. Look for much more on the game in the coming weeks.
