Capcom Fighting Jam hits Japan this year
All-star roundup of Capcom brawlers will appear on Eastern store shelves in December.
TOKYO--According to Japanese retailers, Capcom Fighting Jam will be released this year in Japan. Slated for release on the PlayStation 2, the all-star fighting game will release on December 2 at the retail price of 6,980 yen ($63). This Friday, October 8, the game will be released in Japanese arcades.
In America, the game will be released on November 16 on the PS2 and Xbox under the name Capcom Fighting Evolution.
Capcom Fighting Jam features a collection of characters from five of Capcom's past fighting game titles: Street Fighter II, Street Fighter III, Street Fighter Alpha, DarkStalkers, and Red Earth. For more details on the game, check out GameSpot's hands-on impressions from the Tokyo Game Show.
