Capcom has confirmed the North American release of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, and Dino Crisis for the Sega Dreamcast. Interestingly, the games will arrive earlier than expected and will ship in November. All three games will include several enhancements. Dino Crisis for the Dreamcast includes such features as displaying the number of bullets on the Visual Memory Unit, giving players the ability to view their vitality and character status on VMU, and enhanced resolution. RE2 on the DC will have the extreme battle mode available in the beginning, the gallery mode will allow players to view artwork sketches, 3D models, CG movies, and the different kind of enemies that appear in the game, and the arrange mode is also available. The Dreamcast version of RE3: Nemesis gives the player the ability to select from eight different costumes at the game's onset and has enhanced graphics.

"This combination of survival/horror games is arguably one of the most successful franchises in the history of video games," said Todd Thorson, director of marketing for Capcom Entertainment. "These games feature incredible visuals, compelling storylines, and Capcom's ingenious ability to create environments that overwhelm the player with suspense and drama. These games have enjoyed incredible success worldwide and Sega Dreamcast owners will be delighted these will be available this holiday season."

Dino Crisis and Resident Evil 2 is already available on the Japanese Dreamcast. RE3: Nemesis is a new release.
