Capcom appoints new Euro VP

Capcom's Mark Beaumont has overseen the publisher's operations in the West for the last five years, and now he's taking on even more responsibilities. Beaumont has been promoted from his role as executive vice president and officer of the Americas to executive vice president, officer, and head of consumer software publishing in North America, South America, and Europe. His new responsibilities also include some of the publisher's Australian operations. Beaumont has been in the industry for more than 25 years, with roots dating back to the original Atari. According to the publisher, Beaumont will "continue to foster an atmosphere of innovation" in his new position.
