Mythic Entertainment has announced a publishing and online partnership with Buff Entertainment to launch Dark Age of Camelot, its online role-playing game, in South Korea this fall. Under the agreement, Buff will distribute the game and establish localized servers and support services in South Korea. The game will be beta-tested in South Korea this summer and commercially launched in the fall with a monthly subscription fee.

Mythic recently announced that Dark Age of Camelot had surpassed Microsoft's Lineage: The Blood Pledge, an online role-playing game that has been phenomenally successful in South Korea.

Dark Age of Camelot was launched in October. The game's medieval fantasy world is inspired by Arthurian and other traditional European legends. Players assume the role of characters in one of three warring realms, and they can develop their character by gaining experience from combat and quests.
