Activision has released a video for Call of Duty: WWII that sees the game's developers talking about their "vision" for the World War II shooter and more.
This video, which you can watch in the embed above, was originally shown during the Call of Duty: WWII livestream event in April. But now you can watch it on its own.
Michael Condrey, who is among the leadership team at developer Sledgehammer Games, describes Call of Duty: WWII as a game that tells the "epic, gritty, visceral story of the world's great conflict."
The video also shows off some of the research that went into the game's development. Activision brought on Martin Morgan, a World War II historian and author, to help ensure the game is historically accurate.
Also in the video, Sledgehammer art director Joe Salud spoke about what the developer is hoping to achieve with the way the game looks. It aims to be "emotionally dark [and] visually beautiful."
"More than just being cool and pretty, it's about trying to get people to have a deeper emotional reaction to the game," he said.
