Original Story: The latest update for the battle royale game Call of Duty: Warzone has arrived, delivering with it further weapon balance changes--including another update to the DMR 14--as well as a fix for a key issue pertaining to stims.

Developer Raven Software released the patch notes on Twitter but quickly deleted the post, but not before CharlieIntel captured the patch notes. Raven Software has since reinstated the patch notes, and you can see them below.

For the DMR 14, the patch increases the recoil slightly, while bullet penetration is decreased as well. The burst pistol, meanwhile, sees its max damage reduced by 11 percent. The DMR in particular has been a point of controversy for the game in recent weeks. Its power has caused balance issues in the game, and an earlier update attempted to nerf it, as well.

As for the Stim changes, players can no longer exploit the game to get infinite stim packs when dropping their weapons simultaneously with cooking a grenade.

This is the second new update for Warzone in as many days--you can see the patch notes for the January 12 update here. It's a big week for the Call of Duty series, as the Black Ops Cold War/Warzone Season 1 mid-season update goes live on January 14, which is also the day that Black Ops Cold War's Zombies mode becomes free for a limited time for all players. Then from January 15-19, Activision is offering double weapon XP.
