Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare -- Here's The New Crash Map

Crash comes back to life.

One of the most iconic maps from 2007's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Crash, has been remade for the new Modern Warfare. Crash is now available as part of Season One update that is free for all players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but new gameplay footage from it has emerged online just ahead of time. If you haven't yet dived into the update's new content, you can get a look at what Crash looks like in the video below.

YouTuber Attach posted a video of the new map--and it looks pretty much exactly like it did back in 2007 except with better-looking graphics and one relatively small change to the map itself. There is a new back alley section of the map, but that appears to be the only notable addition.

Curiously, Attach said he was informed by Infinity Ward developers that he wasn't allowed to use the attack chopper killstreak because it could cause the map to glitch. Here's to hoping that has been sorted out for the public release this week.

Crash is just one of the maps coming to Modern Warfare in the Season One update. Some of the others include Vacant and Shipment, which were also fan-favorites in the original game. The Season One update also includes new modes, weapon blueprints, and more.

In addition to the Season One update, December 3 marks the start of Modern Warfare's first Battle Pass. Just like with Fortnite, players will progress through tiers--of which there are 100--earning new cosmetic items and more on the way. Check out a breakdown of the Modern Warfare Battle Pass to learn more.

The map looks great, but the pink weapons look really, really dumb. They could've included realistic camo's. Like armies actually would use.

I've never seen a soldier go to battle with a pink 'hello kitty' rifle.

This game really needs new maps, i'm loving it, best COD in years for me.

BUT in the 20 player TDM there's like 4 or 5 maps it cycles between- super repetitive

@jellyhillcrab: These will no doubt help with the repetitive cycle, now let’s hope they continue to pump out maps like this. I’d love to see the continuation of maps from the previous COD installments modernized and used. Since all content is going to be free, I’d think this would help save time and money while delivering nostalgia for those who have played this game for quite some time now.
