Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer debuts

I don't like The Cod Series but the last moment when appears WW3, i was happy. Finally a war game sets during the Third World War.

i think this games gonna be pretty cool.. ive been trying to decide whether im going to get mw3 or bf3 and im going to pick mw2 because i like the game cover better... the white backgroundwith green mw3 is definatly box art of the year... alot better than the battlefield box art. i dont like the blue background.. too much going on in the bf3 cover..

call of duty series will always be the sales king, along with assassin's creed series.

@Skaigear what it seems like does it not lol they only sold 6 million copies of Bad Company 2 wich is good and it was a good game but no where close to COD sells last time i looked black ops moved 12 million and its not been out as long

I think activision have call of duty generator. just enter title, upload images and some movies. boom a new installation of call of duty.

To add on to that, you then proceed to encourage this pathetic excuse of a company and its copy-and-paste-gaming ideals by funding with every purchase of those maps that should already be in the game to begin with. The issue isn't a matter of envy or jealousy, but it was cute of you to try to throw that remark in as an attempt to insult people who don't like cod. ;) The issue is that people who are able to think for themselves are sick and tired of seeing the same old crap being pumped out of the gutter every time they turn around, and then infecting other game developers with the "rush and rehash" mindset. This game would have so many less haters if Modern Warfare wasn't part of Call of Duty. That way it would just be looked at as the third installment and not the eighth.

I've played the series since the first one came to PC. I have been astonished by just the story line and the fact at times it feels there's no way out. Haters have played, and hopefully have played the campaign which is always a first for me- second is multiplayer which literally blew my mind... cod4 was an extreme benchmark for CoD in a big way. I will be getting this, along with BF3 for PC ONLY.

The MW2 reveal trailer, the first time I saw it, was downright electric. This one, though... I don't know. It just doesn't have the same magic. Maybe it's because they haven't been able to recreate the *spark* they had in CoD4, but I just haven't been impressed by the brand since the 2007 outing. We'll see...

@funtanas32----------- 99% of the original Infinity Ward left to form Respawn Entertainment. The only people left at Infinity now is the maintenance man, and the window washer.

@MRgoyou it is most likely they based the sides off of NATO forces during the cold war so yes it will be all the countries mentioned on the side of the US in a most likely case cant wait for this game and BF3 to come out

I laugh in the face of all the people that claim they hate COD, yet it will once again be the highest selling game this year............by far. I'll see you all coming to eat your crow in November.

i'm confident that the campaign will be cool and all but, for me, its all about what they do with making multiplayer more innovative than its been in past games

@mihmom... No, I'm pretty sure I know the difference between Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3. I was told by a GameStop associate the other day that BF3 had been pushed to Jan. 2012. After a quick search I can find nothing to back that up. Maybe he was confused, or was given incorrect info. Doesn't matter though, I'll be getting both... makes no difference when they come out. EA should move the release to the same day as MW3, then we'll see which one is the sales king.

Bout time, only Infinity Ward make the good COD games. Black Ops and WOW shamed the series.

Ice cream is great, but if somebody keeps feeding you it all the time you pretty much get sick of it. Yearly releases of call of duty are the same way.

I am surprised by the number of anti-American posts. I guess I gave up all of those years of my life serving my country and protecting freedom for nothing, huh? This is a game - it is entertainment, it is a business. Enjoy it for what it is.

Who else thinks this seems like its gonna be all these countries somehow against Russia? I sure as hell do; seriously seems like it.

It is weird. But I think I will be buying this and BF3. I like the bigger maps on BF3, but I loved MW2.

@markfarren2004 that's the point of a black ops unit.. you're not supposed to know when they've been on a mission... You don't know what the SAS have done lately because they're just too good at their job.

Eh, I guess I'm a sheep. I've enjoyed MW1 and 2. I love the campy storylines and it's fairly easy so I'm able to enjoy them, sans a few controller-bashing moments. Multiplayer is fine... sometimes unfair but whatevers. I win some, lose some. I have fun. That's all the matters. All I hear are people crying that they can't have the perfect game. Guess what? You don't have to play MW. There are plenty of other excellent games out there. Honestly, it just seems like some people are jealous that others are having fun when they aren't. I for one am looking forward to how the story continues.

@jshaas You must have misread something or you are mistaking ME3 as BF3. BF3 will be released in Q4 if current schedules are right. Mass Effect 3 was pushed to 2012 instead of BF3.

The best game of war flag of the story and they are shooting and the events and precision in playing mw3 and I hope to be better for the game.

Very predictable with the country's they were involving right after they shown England.

@nini200 Nope, didn't come to view a trailer, came to read the article. I'm fascinated by the kids that are all about a game that just keeps putting out the exact same game mechanics, play style and lame broken storytelling. Now that Activision has full control of this IP it is done for. They will churn out as many as they can as long as it sells. They care little about innovation, imagination, or progress and that is going to kill this franchise. Their are too many games coming out that are original for this to keep on going but it is amazing how big it remains. Selling the same game over and over for 60 bucks a pop... people will figure it out sooner or later that they are basically paying for expansions rather than full games sooner or later.

Like watching an action movie without the suck parts in it. Not bad at all. But it seems that it'll be "TOO" epic. Sadly, sometimes it ruins the whole show. Aaagh.... gona play it anyway. No doubt.
