Call of Duty: Ghosts needs 6GB RAM and 50GB installation on PC

Damn, those greedy fucks don't even care about optimization anymore, just shit it into the stores and also take some money from Nvidia to say "buy 780", even though 800 series is coming in somewhere around beginning of 2014.

But I understand that 50 GB - after all, those dawgs need some space, because peta would chase them for only 1 gig for those poor animals.

I won't be surprised if the dog would end up more fun than that fucking usless gta ifruit thing.

I bet 40GB of those 50 is just Fish AI files.

And the award for the worst port ever and worst optimization game ever made goes to = COD Ghosts.

If this is true, so how can next gen even run the game? Imagine the current gen then.

I can see unofficial patches improving the performance (like GTA4) and rips coming to the PC version weeks after release, maybe sooner :P

This is so inflated. Can't believe the game ask this much req. while improving so little. The scale better be huge compared to previous CoDs

By no means whatsoever should the game require 50GB, there are way more advanced games that use around half that.

I'm looking at Ghosts and Black Ops II screenshots now and I.....I just can't see it! Are those specs meant to be for 4k?

I don't play CoD that much so I even had trouble seeing is it BOII or Ghosts on screenshot. Dog on some screenshots saved me!

@LADIES_MAN_2013 @AdderD not sure about COD, as not really interested, i ran BF4 on beta with ultra high settings and frankly. i was not impressed as much as i was when i watched the 17min demo. not sure if thats because its BETA or graphic card drivers aren't really supporting properly or if it's direct X issues

Im a lapsed PC gamer and I have chuckled at all the PC gamers slagging the next-gen consoles off. Im getting a PS4 and its going to cost a heck of a lot more than £350 to build a PC that will produce anywhere near what the PS4 will produce from the 2nd batch of games onwards.

I'll tell you the real reason why it's 50GB. They're padding the game to make it larger in size, so that less people pirate it. It's a known piracy-prevention technique. Most people will refuse to download it illegally because 50GB download is too much for them...

Textures and improved graphics is just a cover up. That ain't the real reason.
