Call of Duty: Ghosts is the most played Xbox One multiplayer game
Infinity Ward's latest Call of Duty game a top title for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Activision says.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is off to a hot start on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. One week after heralding the game as the top-selling PS4 title, Activision announced today that Call of Duty: Ghosts is the most played Xbox One multiplayer game worldwide, according to player data from Microsoft.
The game is also the best-selling Xbox One game in terms of retail sales in North America at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Wal-Mart. In the United Kingdom, Call of Duty: Ghosts is the best-selling Xbox One game so far, based on data from GfK Chart-Track, Activision said.
On the PS4, Call of Duty: Ghosts continues to be the best-selling and most played game for Sony's new console, Activision said. In addition to being the most played game on Xbox One and PS4, Call of Duty: Ghosts is the most played multiplayer game on Xbox 360, the publisher said.
In total, gamers have played more than 1 billion Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer matches across all versions of the game. Players have Prestiged more than 2.2 million times and have earned 3.3 trillion XP since launch. For more on Call of Duty: Ghosts, check out GameSpot's review.
