Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 has a subtle Harry Potter secret, it's been discovered. Reddit user JarlOfRivia discovered that the Operator Nova has a Harry Potter tattoo on her left arm.

As you can see in the image below (via CharlieIntel), Nova appears to have a tattoo of the Deathly Hallows symbol. This has presumably been in the game since launch but it's only being discovered and circulated now, just a few weeks before the Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy launches in February.

The Denver-based model Abena served as the inspiration for Nova, and she has a Deathly Hallows tattoo as well. Some are theorizing that Activision's scan of Abena for the game might have included the tattoo, but nothing is certain.

Nova's real name, in the Call of Duty fiction, is Nila "Nova" Brown. She is a British 42 Commando L Company leader for the Royal Marines, who specializes in rescuing downed pilots. "A third-generation pilot, her nickname was awarded after her Royal Air Force mission, where she sacrificed her aircraft to destroy another in 'supernova' fashion," Activision said.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 will expand on February 15 with the launch of Season 2, which brings a UI overhaul and a 1v1 Gulag experience.

As for the Harry Potter series, Hogwarts Legacy releases February 10. It's one of 2023's most-anticipated games, and it's also been embroiled in controversy over comments by author J.K. Rowling.
