Call of Duty: Black Ops Rezurrection DLC dropping August 23

Whens it out on PS3damn it!!?!?! Yes Xbox gets it earlier but they could at least do the curtosy of telling us when its out on the other platforms....

@CrossChecked Go back and reread my comment. Of course I got those four maps for free with my edition of the game but that's not what I'm talking about. What I'm referring to is the fact all my friends got the regular edition of Black Ops which means I have been unable to enjoy those maps with my friends for almost a year. Sure I've had the four original maps all this time, but like I said, none of my friends bothered getting any edition other than standard, so I haven't played them. This map pack should have been released months ago when it could have been better utilized by everyone instead of now when my friends and I (and other people) are already moving on to other games.

@reyace: I find that most people who have a passionate hatred for anything Call of Duty completely suck at it. Is that always the case? No, but it's typical.................................................................................................. @parrot_of_adun: I'll give you that the map packs are limited. After all, we're paying 1200 MS points for a mere 4 MP maps and ONE zombie map. You'd think for all that money they'd throw in a new perk or an extra weapon or two. But to just say its just "scenary" is a dismissive and lazy statement at best. I'd love to know just two things. What do you think they should do to make CoD better and what online multiplayer game do you consider the antithesis (better opposite) of CoD and why?

this is good. i actually never played WaW zombies, other than Nacht der Untoten maybe 2 times. never got any map packs or anything for WaW

dude if u dont like black ops dlc why are u trolling on the page? this dlc is totally worth it 4 great WaW maps with black ops guns, an all new map on the moon, a soundtrack of the zombies songs and a theme. im sold and will be playing this until skyrim comes out

Well, at least I'm getting it for free for having the Hardened Edition. Still sucks though, MW3 is 2 months away and they're shoveling out DLC, recycled too.

im tired of cod at the moment, there are too many amazing games i want such as skyrim, rage, deus ex, forza 4 ect. i have spent too much on cod already to spend any money on dlc...it will be a hard decision whether to get mw3 this year, most of my friends will get it, but i not sure if its worth it. and cod in china wtf???

@lithus No, with decent success I played until lvl 50 (or whatever the max was... can't remember). Unless the map packs introduced any particularly brilliant maps for sniping, the packs are relatively worthless. More of the same types of environments (scenery aside) doesn't add any replay value, especially when those environments are so miserably limited.

How do they define "unique online gamers?" And how do they know I'm playing Black Ops with my hands tied behind my back, facing away from the screen, all while a circus monkey impersonating me speaks over my mic and talks trash to 11 year camping noobs.

So your saying that if you had one of the editions of the game that came with the game and you want the Moon map, you have to spend 15 bucks to get it.....thats a ripoff sorry.

What if they make a DLC Zombie stage where the place is the main building of Treyarch and kill those people and leave them as Crawlers that would be worth of buying.

I went back to WAW and I played the first map, I really liked how simple it is now. Unfortunatly all that is really on there now are seven year olds looking for glitches >X(

See this is why I avoided Black Ops, I saw this coming by a mile. 4 map pack DLC's in 10 months? REALLY? Such exploitation it's sickening .... My heart goes out to those brave soldiers who attempted to ride out the wave by waiting until the first of the Black Ops DLC's goes free download. It's probably impossible for them to connect and find matches online with all these pay to play maps in the database...

Well another DLC. I feel sorry for PC and PS3 gamers that they get their DLC so late ( even I kinda hate this game ) 1 month later. It's just been a couple of weeks on PSN and PC and already another one drops in....

Perfect, because this game was lacking in DLC.

So if you wanted to buy all the DLC for this game, it would cost $60. That's as much as a brand new game. AND IT'S A BUNCH OF @#$%!@# MAPS.

Anybody else remember when DLC was free and you actually got a pretty good chunk of stuff rather than a bunch of rehashed crap?

The story mode was ridiculous and ugly. They should have apologized for this crap and offered the DLC's.

@lithus: i completely agree with him. and i have played alot of multiplayer and i succeed onto the top leaderboards of black ops multiplayer so i think that really does not matter now does it?

15$ for 1 new zombie map and 4 copy/paste maps (2 of which weren't any good). Sad thing is people will still pay for this.

Well any of the mp be free. Because why buy a map pack when in the next 2months there would be another one coming out. "Also does any one want to give me mp. Please and thank-you"

Well, at least it's 5 zombies maps, rather than a useless slew of MP stuff.

The problem with implementing new map packs, in my opinion, is if the game developers go the route in which they make it entirely necessary to own the map packs to play ranked matches. So, even if you don't purchase the maps or have no intention of doing so, you are essentially strong-armed into buying them because your favorite playlist may not be available without the maps. Lame!

so by extrapolation is it safe to assume that MW3 will have no less than 6 map packs during its 12 month shelf life?

In multiplayer, you do the same thing over and over again. your really saying you just dont like zombies, so keep to yourself. lots of people like zombies, just like lots of people like multiplayer, and you do the same thing over in both.

So lemme get this straight...they are going to charge us ANOTHER $15 for zombie maps we already had in World at War??? And there wont be any new multiplayer maps??? Wow, Screwwwed!

It's about time they gave gamers what they actually wanted. We've been waiting for DLC that is just zombies for a while now. Too bad the price will still stay the same, and us PS3 gamers still have to wait another 2 months :(

Yes!!! This is the first Black Ops map pack that I think will be completely worth it, I've been wishing for an all-zombies map pack but never thought it would happen. Although 4 of the maps are just the WaW remakes, I've been wanting to play those as well since I never had WaW.

No matter what they change it zombie maps you always do the same thing over and over again.

Well, I have not bought any DLC for this game. However, I do have the Hardened Edition, so I guess this will be free for me. Only way I would get it.

reyace, the day cod dlc becomes free is the day activision care for something that isnt money

this is great because i never had world at war, and now all i play on black ops is zombies!!!

I'm kinda getting fed up of all the people complaining about there is too many new map packs and they are getting greedy. if u don't like it, don't buy it. simple as that!

O and Treyarch is GREEDY. Unbelievable on how they take people's money away in a matter of seconds once a new map pack comes out. If Treyarch made at least the next few map packs for free,then i might consider playing this game again....

Battlefield is wayyyy better then this. I just tried it out a couple days ago and now i am hooked...so yeah. Not that i am comparing because loads of people have different thoughts on Call of Duty and Battlefield,plus freedom of speech, i just like the enviroment and feel of Battlefield,plus it is less congested unlike COD where most maps are small compared to the ones in battlefield and such.... So if anyone asks what series is good for multiplayer...it would technically be both. But from my perspective, it would most likely be Battlefield.
