It's the third round-based Zombies map for Black Ops Cold War, following Die Maschine and Firebase Z. Set in East Berlin after a zombies invasion took over the city, Mauer der Toten unravels the latest chapter in the ongoing Dark Aether storyline.
"The Zombies team is chomping at the bit to share more about this new experience soon, but for now, expect Mauer der Toten to offer plenty of new twists, turns, and terrifying undead threats for players to conquer," developer Treyarch said.
In addition to Mauer der Toten, the Zombies package grows further in season four with new content for the Onslaught mode, which will be exclusive to PlayStation users at launch on June 17. This includes a new map, Collateral, which has new story elements for players to discover.
Later in the season, Onslaught adds a new map, Rush, while a limited time mode called Onslaught Accelerated is also on the way. Players can also unlock a new legendary-tier LMG weapon when they complete a new challenge in Onslaught.
The Outbreak Zombies mode is getting new content, too, with a new region that takes place in a zoo overrun by zombies, which sounds horrifying. A new "Operation Excision" quest is on the way as well, and it's a "narrative prologue" to the new round-based map.
