Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Gets Its Own NASCAR Design on GameStop's No. 20 Car
This car will zip around the track this weekend at the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge.
To celebrate its launch, the No. 20 GameStop Toyota car at this weekend's NASCAR event will feature a Call of Duty: Black Ops III paint job, the retailer has announced. Take a look at the design in the images below.
You can watch this car zip around the track on November 7 as part of the O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at the Texas Motor Speedway. The race starts at 3:30 PM EDT.
This isn't the first time a video game has been featured in a NASCAR event. In October, Microsoft decked out the cars driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jamie McMurray with Halo 5: Guardians designs for Master Chief and Locke. Before that, Nintendo sponsored Matt Kenseth's car to promote Mario Kart 8.
GameStop has also confirmed its plans for tonight's Call of Duty: Black Ops III midnight launch festivities. More than 4,000 stores across the country will start selling the game at 12:01 AM EDT, regardless of their local time zone. Shoppers who head to their local stores early can partake in tournaments, giveaways, and contests. They can even play the game early on in-store demo kiosks.
In other GameStop news, everyone who buys an Xbox One from November 6-8 will get an extra free controller and a free game of their choice. This deal is also good at other retailers. Check out a full roundup of participating retailers and available offers here.
