Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players can earn double XP and try out new playlists this weekend, developer Sledgehammer Games has announced.

The Double XP weekend starts January 23 at 9 AM PDT and ends Monday, January 26 at 9 AM PDT. Sledgehammer is hoping you won't stop then, however, as just a day later--January 27--sees the launch of the game's first expansion pack, Havoc, which introduces new maps and a zombies mode.

The two new Advanced Warfare playlists for this weekend are below, with descriptions via Sledgehammer:

Hardcore Mosh Pit - Features a mix of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Search and Destroy on a variety of maps. You’ll find the same limited HUD, decreased health, and that friendly fire is turned on for our Hardcore players.

24/7 Comeback -- In this new Community Playlist, you'll find "24/7 Comeback" with a variety of game modes like Team Deathmatch, Uplink, Kill Confirmed, Domination, and more. This playlist will be live just during this weekend.

Advanced Warfare was the United States' best-selling game for all of 2014, research company NPD Group announced last week. For more on the title, check out GameSpot's review.
