HeadGames and Activision have announced that Cabela's Big Game Hunter will be turning three when it locks and loads for a fall release.

The new title, developed by Elsnore Multimedia, will take gamers to the forests of the Alaskan Highlands, the mountains of the Idaho Rockies, the Georgia Woodlands, and the Texas Plains as gamers hope to win a gaming trophy. Hunters will encounter eleven big game species, including big horn sheep, black bear, caribou mountain goats, and 18 protected and non-game species.

The new title will also offer 25 new weapons (14 rifles, two shotguns, two handguns, three muzzloaders, and four bows) along with hunting aids like eleven hunting calls, five attractant scents, compasses, a GPS, and more. Cabela III will test new hunters on ethics, gun safety, and wilderness survival to ensure that they become good hunters.
