Burnout Revenge crashing the 360?

Looks like Burnout Revenge may be doing 360s soon. And we're not talking about spinning doughnuts in the parking lot. The Web site for gaming specialty store EB Games is listing a product page for Burnout Revenge XBox 360.

The product page also lists the game as selling for $59.99 and releasing on November 1, which, if correct, would shed new light on both the price point of games and the retail debut of the Xbox 360. Don't start marking the days off on the calendar or breaking open piggy banks just yet. EBgames.com's price and release date come with a buzz kill of a disclaimer: "The ship date and retail price have not been confirmed and therefore are subject to change".

Burnout Revenge was announced in April by developer Criterion Games, which is busy working on the shooter Black for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox. Criterion revealed that gamers would be able to get Revenge on the PS2 and Xbox this September, but next-gen versions existed only in rumors.

Be sure to check back soon, as GameSpot will update this story as soon as possible. In the meantime, check out Burnout Revenge's previous coverage.
