Buggy Heat For Dreamcast

Third party developer, CRI, released shots of its first two Dreamcast titles this week. The first is Buggy Heat (look elsewhere in today's update for screens of Aero Dancing), a road rally game which puts you behind the wheels of dune buggies, both on-road and off.

The screenshots here (courtesy of Softbank's Sega Saturn Magazine) show off the game's impressive graphics, with an attention to detail in the dust flyin' up behind your tires and excellent shadowing effects.

Buggy Heat is scheduled for release in March '99, and uses the Visual Memory System to hold driver data. This is also a title that will likely use the Puru Puru Pack - the Dreamcast's force feedback pack.
